Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था

पृथगक्षौहिणी भ्यां तु पाण्डवानभिसंश्रितौ | महारथौ समाख्यातावुभौ पुरुषमानिनौ,अपनेको पौरुषशाली वीर माननेवाले वे दोनों विख्यात महारथी अलग-अलग एक-एक अक्षौहिणी सेनाके साथ पाण्डवोंकी सहायताके लिये आये हैं

pṛthag akṣauhiṇībhyāṃ tu pāṇḍavān abhiśaṃśritau | mahārathau samākhyātāv ubhau puruṣamāninau ||

సంజయుడు పలికెను—“పౌరుషాభిమానముగల ఆ ఇద్దరు ప్రసిద్ధ మహారథులు వేర్వేరుగా ఒక్కొక్క అక్షౌహిణీ సేనతో పాండవుల పక్షమున చేరిరి.”
