Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 55 — Sañjaya’s Report on Pāṇḍava Readiness and Arjuna’s Dhvaja

भीमसेनानुरोधाय हनूमान्‌ मारुतात्मज: । आत्मप्रतिकृतिं तस्मिन्‌ ध्वज आरोपयिष्यति,भीमसेनके अनुरोधकी रक्षाके लिये पवननन्दन हनुमानजी उस ध्वजमें युद्धके समय अपने स्वरूपको स्थापित करेंगे

sañjaya uvāca |

bhīmasenānurodhāya hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ |

ātmapratikṛtiṁ tasmin dhvaja āropayiṣyati ||

సంజయుడు పలికెను— భీమసేనుని అభ్యర్థనను గౌరవించి అతని రక్షణార్థం వాయుపుత్రుడు హనుమంతుడు యుద్ధకాలంలో ఆ ధ్వజంపై అధిరోహించి అక్కడ తన స్వరూపపు ప్రతిరూపాన్ని స్థాపించును।
