पिता श्रेष्ठ: सुहृद् यश्च सम्यक् प्रणिहितात्मवान् | आस्थेयं हि हितं तेन न द्रोग्धा गुरुरुच्यते
sañjaya uvāca | pitā śreṣṭhaḥ suhṛd yaś ca samyak praṇihitātmavān | āstheyaṃ hi hitaṃ tena na drogdhā gurur ucyate ||
సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—నిజంగా శ్రేష్ఠుడైన తండ్రి, సత్యహితైషి, నియంత్రిత మనస్సు కలవాడు—తనపై ఆధారపడినవారి మేలే సాధించాలి. ద్రోహాన్ని మనసులో దాచుకున్నవాడు తండ్రి గానీ గురువు గానీ అనబడడు।
