वानरो रोचमानश्न केतुः केतुमतां वर: । बाण चलानेवाले वीरोंमें अर्जुन श्रेष्ठ हैं

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | vānaro rocamānaś ca ketuḥ ketumatāṃ varaḥ |

Translation

సంజయుడు పలికెను—వానరచిహ్నముతో కూడిన ఆ ధ్వజము ప్రకాశించుచు, సమస్త కేతువులలో శ్రేష్ఠమై నిలుచుచున్నది। బాణప్రయోగవీరులలో అర్జునుడు శ్రేష్ఠుడు, ధనుస్సులలో గాండీవము ఉత్తమము; సమస్త ప్రాణులలో భగవాన్ శ్రీకృష్ణుడు శ్రేష్ఠుడు, ఆయుధములలో సుదర్శనచక్రము శ్రేష్ఠము; మరియు పతాకాధార ధ్వజములలో వానరచిహ్నిత ధ్వజమే అత్యుత్తమమై ద్యోతించుచున్నది।
