Educational Q&A

Even in a martial setting, rightful leadership is upheld through disciplined conduct and respectful acknowledgment. The orderly welcome of Yudhiṣṭhira highlights the ethical ideal that power should be aligned with dharma and supported through unity and restraint rather than mere aggression.

As Yudhiṣṭhira approaches, the chariot contingents of the Pāṇḍavas and their Pañcāla allies stand in separate, organized formations and formally greet him, indicating readiness, cohesion, and allegiance within the allied camp.
