Chapter 49: Sañjaya’s Enumeration of the Pāṇḍava Coalition (पाण्डवसैन्यसमागम-वर्णनम्)
तेन वो भीमसेनेन पाण्डवा अभ्ययुञ्जत । बाहुबलमें जिनकी समानता करनेवाला इस भूमण्डलमें दूसरा कोई नहीं है, जिन्होंने केवल धनुष धारण करके युद्धमें काशी, अंग, मगध और कलिंग आदि देशोंके समस्त भूपालोंको जीतकर अपने वशमें कर लिया था, उन भीमसेनके बलसे पाण्डवोंने आपलोगोंपर आक्रमण करनेका उद्योग आरम्भ किया है

సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఆ భీమసేనుని బలంతోనే పాండవులు మీపై దాడి చేయుటకు ఉద్యమించారు. ఈ భూమండలమంతటిలో భుజబలంలో అతనికి సమానుడు లేడు; అతడు కేవలం ధనుస్సు ధరించి యుద్ధంలో కాశీ, అంగ, మగధ, కలింగ మొదలైన దేశాల రాజులను జయించి వశపరచుకున్నాడు. అట్టి భీమసేనుని శక్తి ఆధారంగా పాండవుల ఈ దాడి-ప్రయత్నం సాగుతోంది.
