अनादृत्य तु तद् वाक्यमर्थवद् द्रोणभीष्मयो: । ततः स संजयं राजा पर्यपृच्छत पाण्डवान्,द्रोणाचार्य और भीष्मकी बातें सार्थक और सारगर्भित थीं, तथापि उनकी अवहेलना करके राजा धृतराष्ट्र पुन: संजयसे पाण्डवोंका समाचार पूछने लगे
anādṛtya tu tad vākyam arthavad droṇabhīṣmayoḥ | tataḥ sa saṃjayaṃ rājā paryapṛcchata pāṇḍavān ||
ద్రోణుడు, భీష్ముడు చెప్పిన అర్థవంతమైన వచనాన్ని నిరాదరించి, రాజు ధృతరాష్ట్రుడు మళ్లీ సంజయుని పాండవుల వార్తలను అడిగెను।
