प्राज्ञोपसेविन वैद्यं धार्मिकं प्रियदर्शनम् । मित्रवन्तं सुवाक्यं च सुहृदं परिपालयेत्,जो दविद्वानोंकी सेवामें रहनेवाला, वैद्य, धार्मिक, देखनेमें सुन्दर, मित्रोंसे युक्त तथा मधुरभाषी हो, ऐसे सुहृदकी सर्वथा रक्षा करनी चाहिये
prājñopasevinaṃ vaidyaṃ dhārmikaṃ priyadarśanam | mitravantaṃ suvākyaṃ ca suhṛdaṃ paripālayet ||
జ్ఞానుల సన్నిధిని ఆశ్రయించి సేవచేసేవాడు, వైద్యునివలె నిపుణుడు, ధర్మనిష్ఠుడు, చూడటానికి ప్రియమైనవాడు, మిత్రసంపన్నుడు, మధురమైన యుక్తవాక్యాలు పలికేవాడు—అటువంటి సుహృదుని శ్రద్ధతో రక్షించి పోషించాలి.
