अशोभनन््त महेष्वासा ग्रहा: प्रज्वयलिता इव । वे महाधनुर्धर शूरवीर विचित्र कवच और तपाये हुए सोनेके कुण्डल धारण किये वेदीपर घीकी आहुतिसे प्रज्वलित हुए अग्निदेवके समान तथा आकाशमें प्रकाशित होनेवाले ग्रहोंकी भाँति शोभा पा रहे थे
aśobhanan maheṣvāsā grahāḥ prajvalitā iva | te mahā-dhanur-dharāḥ śūra-vīrā vicitra-kavacāḥ tapta-hema-kuṇḍala-dhāriṇaḥ vedī-pari ghṛtāhuti-prajvalitāgnivat ākāśe prakāśamānānāṃ grahāṇām iva śobhāṃ prāpuḥ |
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఆ మహేష్వాసులు, మహాధనుర్ధర శూరవీరులు, విచిత్ర కవచములు మరియు తప్త స్వర్ణ కుండలములు ధరించి, వేదికపై నెయ్యి ఆహుతులతో ప్రజ్వలించిన అగ్నిదేవునివలెను, ఆకాశమందు ప్రకాశించే గ్రహములవలెను శోభిల్లుచుండిరి।
