भीष्म-द्रोणादिभिः पाण्डवसेनाक्षयकाल-निर्णयः | Time-estimates for the depletion of the Pāṇḍava forces

शलो भूरिश्रवा: शल्य: कौसल्यो<थ बूृहद्रथ: । एते पश्चादनुगता धार्तराष्ट्रपुरोगमा:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

śalo bhūriśravāḥ śalyaḥ kausalyo 'tha bṛhadrathaḥ |

ete paścād anugatā dhārtarāṣṭra-purogamāḥ senā-sahitāḥ kṛtavarmā mahārathaḥ trigartāḥ ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—శలుడు, భూరిశ్రవుడు, శల్యుడు, కోసలరాజు, ఆపై బృహద్రథుడు—వీరందరూ ధృతరాష్ట్రపుత్రులను (దుర్యోధనుని అగ్రస్థానంలో ఉంచి) ముందుంచి, వారి వెనుక వెనుక అనుసరించి సాగిరి।
