राजा युधिष्ठिरके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर निद्राविजयी अर्जुनने भगवान् श्रीकृष्णकी ओर देखकर यह बात कही-- सर्व एते महात्मान: कृतास्त्राश्चित्रयोधिन: । असंशयं महाराज हन्युरेव न संशय:
sarva ete mahātmānaḥ kṛtāstrāś citrayodhinaḥ | asaṃśayaṃ mahārāja hanyur eva na saṃśayaḥ ||
అర్జునుడు భగవాన్ శ్రీకృష్ణుని వైపు చూసి పలికాడు—“మహారాజా! వీరందరూ మహాత్ములైన యోధులు; అస్త్రవిద్యలో సంపూర్ణంగా శిక్షణ పొందినవారు, నానావిధ యుద్ధకౌశల్యాలలో నిపుణులు. నిస్సందేహంగా, ఆ దినాల వ్యవధిలోనే వారు శత్రుసేనను సంహరించగలరు; ఇందులో ఎలాంటి సందేహమూ లేదు.”
