Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)
उद्धरिष्यामि ते सद्यः: सामात्यसुतबान्धवम् | “राजन! वीरवर राजा हिरण्यवर्माने जो संदेश दिया है
uddhariṣyāmi te sadyaḥ sāmātya-suta-bāndhavam |
నేను నిన్ను ఇప్పుడే—మంత్రులు, కుమారులు, బంధువులతో సహా—పెళ్లగించి పడేస్తాను. రాజా! హిరణ్యవర్మ పంపిన సందేశాన్ని విను. పాపాచారి, దుర్బుద్ధి నరేశా! నీ కుమార్తె చేత నేను మోసపోయాను; ఆ పాపం నీ వల్లనే జరిగింది—కాబట్టి దాని ఫలాన్ని అనుభవించు. నరాధిపా! యుద్ధభూమికి వచ్చి నాకు యుద్ధావకాశం ఇవ్వు. నేను మంత్రులు, కుమారులు, బంధువులతో సహా నీ సమస్త వంశాన్ని వేరుతో సహా పెకిలించివేస్తాను.
