अयुद्धेन निवृत्ति च मनसा चिन्तय प्रभो । देवतानां प्रसादेन सर्वमेतद् भविष्यति,'प्रभो! मन-ही-मन यह चिन्तन कीजिये कि दशार्णराज बिना युद्ध किये ही लौट जाये। देवताओंके कृपाप्रसादसे यह सब कुछ सिद्ध हो जायगा
ayuddhena nivṛttiṃ ca manasā cintaya prabho | devatānāṃ prasādena sarvam etad bhaviṣyati ||
ప్రభూ! మనసులోనే ఇలా ఆలోచించండి—దాశార్ణరాజు యుద్ధం లేకుండానే వెనుదిరగాలి; దేవతల అనుగ్రహంతో ఇవన్నీ నెరవేరుతాయి.
भीष्म उवाच
