अथास्रमस्रवद् घोरं गिरेगैरिकधातुवत् । रामेण सुमहाबाहो क्षतस्य छतजेक्षण,लाल नेत्रोंवाले महाबाहु दुर्योधन! परशुरामजीके द्वारा किये हुए उस गहरे आघातसे भयंकर रक्तकी धारा बह चली। मानो पर्वतसे गैरिक धातुमिश्रित जलका झरना झर रहा हो

అప్పుడు, ఛత్రవర్ణంవలె ఎర్రని కళ్లుగల మహాబాహు దుర్యోధనా! రాముడు (పరశురాముడు) చేసిన ఆ లోతైన గాయంనుండి భయంకరమైన రక్తధార ఉప్పొంగి ప్రవహించింది—గిరి నుండి గైరికధాతురంగు కలిసిన నీటి జలపాతం జారుతున్నట్లుగా।
