प्रजज्वाल नभो राजन् धूमायन्ते दिशो दश । न स्थातुमन्तरिक्षे च शेकुराकाशगास्तदा
prajajvāla nabho rājan dhūmāyante diśo daśa | na sthātum antarīkṣe ca śekur ākāśagās tadā ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను— ఓ రాజా! ఆకాశము అగ్నివలె ప్రజ్వలించింది; పది దిక్కులూ పొగతో నిండిపోయాయి. ఆ సమయంలో ఆకాశంలో సంచరించువారికూడా అంతరిక్షంలో నిలువలేకపోయిరి.
