ततः सूते हते तस्मिन् क्षिपतस्तस्य मे शरान् | प्रमत्तमनसो राम: प्राहिणोन्मृत्युसम्मितम्
tataḥ sūte hate tasmin kṣipatastasya me śarān | pramattamanaso rāmaḥ prāhiṇon mṛtyusammitam ||
ఆపై ఆ సారథి హతుడైనప్పుడు, అతడు నాపై బాణాలు విసురుతూనే ఉండగా, నేను క్షణకాలం అప్రమత్తమైన మనస్సుతో అతని బాణాలను కోసివేస్తూ ఉన్నాను. అప్పుడు రాముడు (పరశురాముడు) మరణసమానమైన భయంకర బాణాన్ని నాపై విడిచాడు.
