अथादृश्यत धर्मात्मा भुगुश्रेष्ठी महातपा: । आह्वयामास च तदा युद्धाय द्विजसत्तम:,इतनेमें ही भूगुकुलतिलक ब्राह्णशिरोमणि महातपस्वी धर्मात्मा परशुरामजी दिखायी दिये। उन्होंने सामने आकर युद्धके लिये भीष्मको ललकारा

Transliteration

athādṛśyata dharmātmā bhṛguśreṣṭhī mahātapāḥ | āhvayāmāsa ca tadā yuddhāya dvijasattamaḥ ||

Translation

అప్పుడు ధర్మాత్ముడూ మహాతపస్వీ అయిన భృగుశ్రేష్ఠుడు, ద్విజసత్తముడు పరశురాముడు దర్శనమిచ్చి, వెంటనే యుద్ధానికి భీష్ముని సవాలు చేశాడు.
