अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः

यो यथा वर्तते यस्मिंस्तस्मिन्नेव प्रवर्तयन्‌ । नाधर्म समवाप्रोति न चाश्रेयश्ष विन्दति,“जो जैसा बर्ताव करता है, उसके साथ वैसा ही बर्ताव करनेवाला पुरुष न तो अधर्मको प्राप्त होता है और न अमंगलका ही भागी होता है

yo yathā vartate yasmiṁs tasminn eva pravartayan | nādharmaṁ samavāpnoti na cāśreyaś ca vindati ||

ఎవడు ఎలా ప్రవర్తిస్తాడో, అతనితో అలాగే ప్రవర్తిస్తూ ప్రతిస్పందించే వాడు—అధర్మాన్ని పొందడు; అపశకునం/అమంగళం కూడా అతనికి కలగదు.
