अम्बाया रामजामदग्न्यशरणगमनम्
Ambā Seeks Refuge with Rāma Jāmadagnya
एतत् सर्व विनिश्चित्य स्वबुद्धया भगुनन्दन । यदत्रौपयिकं कार्य तच्चिन्तयितुमरहसि,भुगुनन्दन! इन सब बातोंपर बुद्धिपूर्वक विचार करके जो उचित प्रतीत हो, उसी कार्यकी ओर आप ध्यान दें
etat sarva viniścitya svabuddhyā bhagunandana | yad atraupayikaṃ kāryaṃ tac cintayitum arhasi, bhagunandana ||
భృగునందనా! ఇవన్నీ నీ స్వబుద్ధితో నిశ్చయంగా పరిశీలించి, ఇక్కడ ఏది సముచితమో హితకరమో అదే కార్యాన్ని ఆలోచించవలసినది।
राम उवाच
One should not act impulsively or merely by hearsay; after weighing all factors with one’s own बुद्धि (discernment), one must choose the action that is both appropriate (aupāyika) and aligned with duty (kārya).
Rama addresses a figure honored as “Bhagunandana,” urging him to make a clear, independent assessment of the situation and then to focus on the most fitting and effective course of action.
