किमियं वक्ष्यतीत्येवं विममर्श भगूद्वह: । इति दध्यौ चिरं राम: कृपयाभिपरिप्लुत:,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! उसके सुन्दर रूप, नूतन (तरुण) शरीर तथा अत्यन्त सुकुमारताको देखकर परशुरामजी चिन्तामें पड़ गये कि न जाने यह क्या कहेगी? उसके प्रति दयाभावसे परिपूर्ण हो भूगुकुलभूषण परशुराम बहुत देरतक उसीके विषयमें चिन्ता करते रहे
kim iyaṁ vakṣyatīty evaṁ vimamarśa bhagūd-vahaḥ | iti dadhyau ciraṁ rāmaḥ kṛpayābhipariplutaḥ ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—రాజా! ‘ఇమె ఏమి చెప్పబోతోంది?’ అని భృగువంశశ్రేష్ఠుడు రాముడు (పరశురాముడు) విచారించి, కరుణతో నిండిపోయి దీర్ఘకాలం ధ్యానించెను.
