Amba approaches the Paraśurāma context; Hotravāhana’s counsel and Akṛtavraṇa’s report (अम्बोपाख्यानम्—रामदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)

होत्रवाहन उवाच राम॑ द्रक्ष्यसि भद्रे त्वं जामदग्न्यं महावने । उग्रे तपसि वर्तन्तं सत्यसंधं महाबलम्‌,होत्रवाहन बोले--भद्रे! जमदग्निनन्दन परशुराम एक महान्‌ वनमें उग्र तपस्या कर रहे हैं। वे महान्‌ शक्तिशाली और सत्यप्रतिज्ञ हैं। तुझे अवश्य ही उनका दर्शन प्राप्त होगा

Hotravāhana uvāca: Rāma drakṣyasi bhadre tvaṃ Jāmadagnyaṃ mahāvane | ugre tapasi vartantaṃ satyasaṃdhaṃ mahābalam ||

హోత్రవాహనుడు అన్నాడు—“భద్రే! నీవు మహావనంలో జమదగ్నినందనుడు రాముడు (పరశురాముడు)ను దర్శిస్తావు. ఆయన ఘోర తపస్సులో నిమగ్నుడై ఉన్నాడు—మహాబలవంతుడు, సత్యసంకల్పుడు. నీకు తప్పక ఆయన దర్శనం లభిస్తుంది.”
