अम्बोपाख्याने तापसानां विचारः तथा होत्रवाहनस्य उपदेशः

उपदिष्टमिहेच्छामि तापस्यं वीतकल्मषा: । युष्माभिवदेवसंकाशै: कृपा भवतु वो मयि,“निष्पाप तापसगण! मैं चाहती हूँ कि आप देवोपम साधुपुरुष मुझे तपस्याका उपदेश दें, मुझपर आपलोगोंकी कृपा हो”
upadiṣṭam ihēcchāmi tāpasyaṁ vītakalmaṣāḥ | yuṣmābhir deva-saṅkāśaiḥ kṛpā bhavatu vo mayi ||
హే నిష్పాప తపస్వులారా! నేను ఇక్కడే తపస్సు విధానాన్ని ఉపదేశంగా పొందదలచుకున్నాను. మీరు దేవసమాన ప్రకాశవంతులు—నాపై కరుణ చూపి తపస్సు మార్గాన్ని బోధించండి.
