भीष्मकृतः पाण्डवपक्ष-महारथ-प्रशंसा
Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors
तेजोवधमिमं कुर्याद् विभेदयिषुराहवे । यथा त्वं गुणविद्वेषादपरागं चिकीर्षसि
tejovadham imaṁ kuryād vibhedayiṣur āhave | yathā tvaṁ guṇavidveṣād aparāgaṁ cikīrṣasi ||
భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు—యుద్ధమధ్యంలో విభేదం కలిగించాలని కోరుతూ తన పక్షపు యోధుని తేజస్సును ఎవరు హరించగలరు? నీవు నా గుణాలపై ద్వేషంతో రాజులను నాపై విరక్తుల్ని చేయాలని ఎలా ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నావో, అలాగే యుద్ధావకాశం వచ్చిన ఈ వేళ—సమానస్థానమున్న ఉదార రాజులు కూడినప్పుడే—చీలిక తెచ్చే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నావు.
