एतेन युद्धम भवत् पुरा गाण्डीवधन्वन: । दिवसान् सुबहून् राजन्नुभयोर्जयगृद्धिनो:,राजन्! पहले इनके साथ गाण्डीवधारी अर्जुनका युद्ध हुआ था। उस संग्राममें दोनों अपनी-अपनी विजय चाहते हुए बहुत दिनोंतक लड़ते रहे
etena yuddham abhavat purā gāṇḍīvadhanvanaḥ | divasān subahūn rājann ubhayor jayagṛddhinoḥ ||
రాజా, పూర్వం గాండీవధారి అర్జునునికి ఇతనితో యుద్ధం జరిగింది. ఆ సంగ్రామంలో ఇరుపక్షాలు విజయాకాంక్షతో అనేక దినాలు పోరాడాయి.
