Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 165 — Bhīṣma’s Appraisal and Karṇa’s Rebuttal (भीष्म–कर्ण विवादः)
एतस्य रथसिंहस्य तवार्थे राजसत्तम । पराक्रम यथेन्द्रस्य द्रक्ष्यन्ति कुरवो युधि
etasya rathasiṁhasya tavārthe rājasattama | parākramaṁ yathendrasya drakṣyanti kuravo yudhi ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజశ్రేష్ఠా! నీ కోసమే యుద్ధంలో కురువీరులు రథయోధులలో సింహసముడైన ఈ కాంబోజరాజు ఇంద్రుని వంటి పరాక్రమాన్ని దర్శిస్తారు. రణభూమిలో అతని శౌర్యం ప్రకాశిస్తుంది; కౌరవులు దానిని ప్రత్యక్షంగా చూస్తారు.
