भीष्मस्य सेनापत्यप्रतिज्ञा तथा रथसंख्यावर्णनम् | Bhishma Accepts Command and Enumerates Kaurava Strength
भावस्ते विदितो<स्माभिरद्दुर्बुद्धे कुलपांसन । न हनिष्यन्ति गाड़ेयं पाण्डवा घृणयेति हि,“खोटी बुद्धिवाले कुलांगार! तेरा मनोभाव हमने समझ लिया है। तू जानता है कि पाण्डवलोग दयावश गंगानन्दन भीष्मका वध नहीं करेंगे
bhāvas te vidito ’smābhir ad-durbuddhe kulapāṃsana | na haniṣyanti gāṅgeyaṃ pāṇḍavā ghṛṇayeti hi ||
దుర్బుద్ధి, కులకలంకుడా! నీ మనస్సులోని భావం మాకు తెలిసినదే; పాండవులు కరుణవశాత్ గంగానందనుడు భీష్ముని వధించరని నీవు ఆశ్రయించుకున్నావు.
