मय्यभागिनि राज्याय कथं त्वं राज्यमिच्छसि । अराजपुत्रो हास्वामी परस्वं हर्तुमिच्छसि,“मैं तो राज्यका अधिकारी था ही नहीं, फिर तू कैसे राज्य लेना चाहता है? जो राजाका पुत्र नहीं है, वह उसके राज्यका स्वामी नहीं हो सकता। तू पराये धनका अपहरण करना चाहता है

mayy abhāgini rājyāya kathaṁ tvaṁ rājyam icchasi | arājaputro hāsvāmī parasvaṁ hartum icchasi ||

వాయువు అన్నాడు—“నేనే రాజ్యానికి భాగస్వామి కాకపోతే, నీవు రాజ్యాన్ని ఎలా కోరుతున్నావు? రాజపుత్రుడు కానివాడు ఆ రాజ్యానికి స్వామి కాలేడు. నీవు పరుల ధనాన్ని అపహరించదలచుకున్నావు.”
