Droṇa–Vidura–Gāndhārī Counsel in the Royal Assembly (धर्मार्थयुक्ता सभा-उपदेश-प्रकरणम्)
स राजा तस्य ते पुत्रा: पितुर्दायाद्यहारिण: । मा तात कल हं कार्षी राज्यस्यार्ध प्रदीयताम्
sa rājā tasya te putrāḥ pitur dāyādyahāriṇaḥ | mā tāta kalahāṁ kārṣī rājyasyārdhaṁ pradīyatām ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఆ రాజు పాండువు నీ తండ్రికి న్యాయమైన వారసుడు; అతని కుమారులైన పాండవులు తమ తండ్రి సంపత్తికి యథార్థ వారసులు. కనుక, వత్స దుర్యోధనా! కలహం చేయకు; రాజ్యంలోని సగభాగం వారికి ఇవ్వబడుగాక.
