राशिवर्धनमात्र स नैव स्त्री न पुन: पुमान् | जिसके महान् और अद्धुत पुरुषार्थ एवं चरित्रकी सब लोग चर्चा नहीं करते हैं, वह मनुष्य अपने द्वारा जनसंख्याकी वृद्धिमात्र करनेवाला है। मेरी दृष्टिमें न तो वह स्त्री है और न पुरुष ही है
rāśivardhanamātraḥ sa naiva strī na punaḥ pumān |
వాయువు పలికెను— “కేవలం జనసంఖ్యను పెంచేవాడే గాని, తన మహత్తరమైన, అద్భుతమైన పురుషార్థం మరియు చరిత్రను లోకం కీర్తించని వాడు—అతడు సంఖ్యావృద్ధి మాత్రమే. నా దృష్టిలో అతడు స్త్రీకాదు, పురుషుడుకాదు.”
