प्राग्ज्योतिषगतं शौरिं नरक: सह दानवै: । ग्रहीतुं नाशकत तत्र त॑ त्वं प्रार्थथसे बलात्,पहलेकी बात है, प्राग्ज्योतिषपुरमें गये हुए श्रीकृष्णको दानवोंसहित नरकासुरने भी वहाँ बन्दी बनानेकी चेष्टा की; परंतु वह भी वहाँ सफल न हो सका। उन्हींको तुम बलपूर्वक अपने वशमें करना चाहते हो
prāgjyotiṣagataṃ śauriṃ narakaḥ saha dānavaiḥ | grahītuṃ nāśakat tatra taṃ tvaṃ prārthayase balāt ||
మునుపు ప్రాగ్జ్యోతిషపురానికి వెళ్లిన శౌరిని (శ్రీకృష్ణుని) నరకాసురుడు దానవులతో కలిసి పట్టుకోవాలని ప్రయత్నించాడు; కానీ అక్కడ కూడా అతడు సాధించలేకపోయాడు. అలాంటి శ్రీకృష్ణుని నీవు బలప్రయోగంతో వశం చేసుకోవాలని కోరుతున్నావా!
