Adhyāya 128 — Proposal to Restrain Keśava; Sātyaki’s Warning and Vidura–Dhṛtarāṣṭra Counsel
न लोभादर्थसम्पत्तिर्नराणामिह दृश्यते । तदलं तात लोभेन प्रशाम्य भरतर्षभ
na lobhād arthasampattir narāṇām iha dṛśyate | tad alaṃ tāta lobhena praśāmya bharatarṣabha ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—తాతా! ఈ లోకమున కేవలం లోభముచేతనే మనుష్యులకు నిజమైన సంపద లభించునని కనిపించదు. కావున, ఓ భరతశ్రేష్ఠా, లోభమును ఇంతటితో ఆపుము; శాంతించుము; పాండవులతో సంధి చేయుము।
