प्रत्यक्षमेतद्‌ भवतां यद्‌ वक्ष्यामि हित॑ं वच: । भवतामानुकूल्येन यदि रोचेत भारता:,“मैं तो हितकी बात बताने जा रहा हूँ। उसका आपलोगोंको भी प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव है। भरतवंशियो! यदि वह आपके अनुकूल होनेके कारण ठीक जान पड़े तो आप उसे काममें ला सकते हैं

pratyakṣam etad bhavatāṃ yad vakṣyāmi hitaṃ vacaḥ | bhavatām ānukūlyena yadi roceta bhāratāḥ ||

నేను చెప్పబోయే హితవచనం మీకూ ప్రత్యక్షంగా తెలిసినదే. ఓ భారతవంశీయులారా! అది మీకు అనుకూలంగా సముచితంగా అనిపిస్తే, దాన్ని కార్యరూపంలో పెట్టండి.
