विक्रमे चाप्यपर्याप्ता: पाण्डवान् प्रति भारत । “भरतनन्दन! ये तुम्हें ज्ञान, धर्म और अर्थकी प्राप्ति करानेमें समर्थ नहीं हैं और पाण्डवोंके सामने पराक्रम प्रकट करनेमें भी ये असमर्थ ही हैं

vikrame cāpy aparyāptāḥ pāṇḍavān prati bhārata |
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— ఓ భారతా! పాండవుల ఎదుట వీరు పరాక్రమంలో కూడా చాలనివారు. ఓ భరతనందనా! వీరు నీకు జ్ఞానం, ధర్మం, అర్థం పొందించగలవారు కాదు; పాండవుల ముందు తమ శౌర్యాన్ని చూపగల శక్తి కూడా వీరికి లేదు.
