ब॒हस्पतिरुवाच नहुषं याचतां देवी किंचित् कालान्तरं शुभा । इन्द्राणी हितमेतद्धि तथास्माकं भविष्यति,बृहस्पतिजीने कहा--देवगण! शुभलक्षणा शची देवी नहुषसे कुछ समयकी अवधि माँगें। इसीसे इनका और हमारा भी हित होगा
Transliteration
Bṛhaspatir uvāca: Nahuṣaṃ yācatāṃ devī kiñcit kālāntaraṃ śubhā | Indrāṇī hitam etad dhi tathāsmākaṃ bhaviṣyati ||
Translation
బృహస్పతి అన్నాడు—దేవగణములారా! శుభలక్షణాలైన ఇంద్రాణి శచీ, నహుషుని వద్ద కొంత కాలావకాశం కోరాలి. ఇదే ఆమెకు హితం; అలాగే మనకూ మేలు కలుగుతుంది.
