नारद उवाच
This verse is a colophon rather than a doctrinal statement: it teaches by form—marking completion, preserving textual order, and situating the Gālava episode within the Udyoga Parva’s ethical arc where right conduct, counsel, and restraint are weighed before conflict.
The narrative action pauses: the text formally closes the chapter, identifying it as the 115th adhyāya in the Udyoga Parva, within the Bhagavad-yāna Parva, and specifying that the completed unit concerns Gālava’s story.
