भगवल्लॉकसारस्य सदृशेन वपुष्मता । भुजेन स्वैरमुक्तेन निष्पिष्टोडस्मि महीतले,“भगवन्‌! संसारके मूर्तिमान्‌ सारतत्त्व-सदूश आपकी इस भुजाके द्वारा, जिसे आपने स्वाभाविक ही मेरे ऊपर रख दिया था, मैं पिसकर पृथ्वीपर गिर गया हूँ

bhagaval lokasārasya sadṛśena vapuṣmatā | bhujena svairamuktena niṣpiṣṭo ’smi mahītale ||

కణ్వుడు పలికెను— భగవాన్! లోకసారతత్త్వానికి తగిన రూపముగల మీ భుజాన్ని మీరు సహజంగానే నాపై ఉంచగా, దాని బలానికి నేను నలిగిపోయి భూమిపై పడిపోయాను।
