ततो<बवीत् प्रीतमना मातलिनरिदं वच: । एष मे रुचितस्तात जामाता भुजगोत्तम:,तब मातलिने प्रसन्नचित्त होकर नारदजीसे कहा--'तात! यह श्रेष्ठ नाग मुझे अपना जामाता बनानेके योग्य जँच गया
tato ’bravīt prītamanā mātalir idaṃ vacaḥ | eṣa me rucitas tāta jāmātā bhujagottamaḥ ||
అప్పుడు ప్రీతమనస్కుడైన మాతలి నారదునితో పలికెను—“తాత! ఈ శ్రేష్ఠ భుజంగుడు నాకు నచ్చెను; ఇతడు నా అల్లుడగుటకు యోగ్యుడు.”
