Mātali’s Proposal for Guṇakeśī and Sumukha’s Audience with Indra
ऑपनआक्ाा बछ। अर ग>र्योधिकशततमो< ध्याय: नागलोकके नागोंका वर्णन और मातलिका नागकुमार सुमुखके साथ अपनी कन्याको ब्याहनेका निश्चय नारद उवाच इयं भोगवती नाम पुरी वासुकिपालिता । यादृशी देवराजस्य पुरीवर्यामरावती,नारदजी बोले--मातले! यह नागराज वासुकिदद्वारा सुरक्षित उनकी भोगवती नामक पुरी है। देवराज इन्द्रकी सर्वश्रेष्ठ नगरी अमरावतीकी तरह ही यह भी सुख-समृद्धिसे सम्पन्न है
Nārada uvāca: iyaṃ Bhogavatī nāma purī Vāsuki-pālitā | yādṛśī deva-rājasya purī-varyā Amarāvatī ||
నారదుడు పలికెను—మాతలీ! ఇది భోగవతీ అనే నగరి; నాగరాజు వాసుకి దీనిని రక్షించి పాలించుచున్నాడు. దేవరాజు ఇంద్రుని శ్రేష్ఠ నగరమైన అమరావతీ యెట్లయో, అట్లే ఇది కూడా వైభవ-సమృద్ధులతో పరిపూర్ణమై యున్నది.
