Vāmadeva’s Counsel on Rooted Kingship and Non-violent Victory (वामदेवोपदेशः—दृढमूलराजधर्मः)
यस्य स्फीतो जनपद: सम्पन्न: प्रिययाजक: । संतुष्टपुष्टसचिवो दृढमूल: स पार्थिव:
yasya sphīto janapadaḥ sampannaḥ priyayājakaḥ | santuṣṭa-puṣṭa-sacivo dṛḍha-mūlaḥ sa pārthivaḥ ||
ఎవరి జనపదం సుభిక్షంగా, ధనధాన్యసంపన్నంగా, రాజును ప్రియంగా భావించి యజ్ఞాదులతో గౌరవించేందుకు ఉత్సుకులైన ప్రజలతో నిండివుండి, సంతుష్టులై సుపుష్టులైన మంత్రులతో అలంకృతమై ఉంటుందో—ఆ రాజే దృఢమూలుడని చెప్పబడతాడు.
