एवमारण्यशास्त्राणामुग्रमुग्रतरं विधिम् । सेवमान: प्रतीक्षिष्ये देहस्यास्य समापनम्,इस प्रकार वनवासी मुनियोंके लिये शास्त्रमें बताये हुए कठोर-से-कठोर नियमोंका पालन करता हुआ इस शरीरकी आयु समाप्त होनेकी बाट देखता रहूँगा
evam āraṇyaśāstrāṇām ugram ugrataraṁ vidhim | sevamānaḥ pratīkṣiṣye dehasyāsya samāpanam ||
ఇలా అరణ్యవాసి మునుల కొరకు శాస్త్రాలలో విధించిన అత్యంత కఠిన—ఇంకా కఠినతర—విధిని ఆచరిస్తూ, ఈ దేహాయువు ముగింపును నేను ఎదురుచూస్తాను।
