Kośārtha-Rājadharma: Ethical Revenue Collection and Social Regulation (कोशार्थ-राजधर्मः)

एवं दण्डं च कोशं च मित्र भूमिं च लप्स्यसि । सत्यार्जवपरो राजन्‌ मित्रकोशबलान्वित:,नरेश्वर! ऐसा करनेसे तुम्हें दण्डधारणकी शक्ति, खजाना, मित्र तथा राज्यकी भी प्राप्ति होगी। तुम सत्य और सरलतामें तत्पर रहकर मित्र, कोश और बलसे सम्पन्न हो जाओगे

evaṁ daṇḍaṁ ca kośaṁ ca mitra-bhūmiṁ ca lapsyasi | satyārjava-paro rājan mitra-kośa-balānvitaḥ ||

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఇలా చేయుటవలన నీకు దండధారణ సామర్థ్యం, ఖజానా, మిత్రులు మరియు భూమి (రాజ్యం) లభిస్తాయి. ఓ రాజా! సత్యం, సరళతలలో నిబద్ధుడై ఉంటే మిత్ర, కోశ, బలాలతో సమృద్ధుడవగుదువు.
