सो<5हं कितवमातेव द्वयोरपि महामते । एकस्य जयमाशंसे द्वितीयस्यापराजयम्‌

Transliteration

so 'haṃ kitavamāteva dvayor api mahāmate | ekasya jayam āśaṃse dvitīyasya aparājayam, mahāmate ||

Translation

మహామతీ! ఇద్దరు జూదగాళ్ల తల్లి ఒకడికి గెలుపు కోరినా, మరొకడికి ఓటమి కోరనట్లే, నేను కూడా ఈ ఇద్దరు సుహృదులలో ఒకరి విజయాన్ని కోరుతున్నాను; కానీ మరొకరి అపజయాన్ని కోరడం లేదు.
