Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

आयुधानां च सर्वेषां शक्‍्त्यूष्टिप्रासवर्मणाम्‌ । संचयानेवमादीनां कारयीत नराधिप:,इसी प्रकार राजाको चाहिये कि शक्ति, ऋष्टि और प्रास आदि सब प्रकारके आयुधों, कवचों तथा ऐसी ही अन्य आवश्यक वस्तुओंका संग्रह करावे

āyudhānāṁ ca sarveṣāṁ śakty-ṛṣṭi-prāsa-varmaṇām | saṁcayān evam-ādīnāṁ kārayīta narādhipaḥ ||

భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు—అదేవిధంగా రాజు శక్తి, ఋష్టి, ప్రాస మొదలైన అన్ని రకాల ఆయుధాలు, కవచాలు మరియు ఇతర అవసరమైన సైనిక సరఫరాల నిల్వలను సిద్ధం చేసి నిలుపుకోవాలి.
