राज्ञो रहस्यं यद्‌ वाक्‍्यं जयार्थ लोकसंग्रह: । ह्दि यच्चास्य जिह्दूं स्‍्थात्‌ कारणेन च यद्‌ भवेत्‌

Transliteration

rājño rahasyaṁ yad vākyaṁ jayārthaṁ lokasaṅgrahaḥ | hṛdi yac cāsya jihvūṁ sthāt kāraṇena ca yad bhavet ||

Translation

రాజు ఉపదేశంలో—ఏది రహస్యంగా ఉంచాలో, ఏది విజయార్థం మరియు ప్రజాసంఘటనార్థం పలకాలో, అలాగే ఏది కారణవశాత్ హృదయంలోనే దాచుకొని నాలుకపైకి రానీయకూడదో—ఇవన్నీ ఉండాలి.
