सेव्यमान: सवैयाख्यो गाड़ेय विदितस्तव । “गड़ानन्दन! योग और सांख्यमें जो सनातन धर्म नियत हैं तथा चारों वर्णोंके लिये जो अविरोधी धर्म बताया गया है

sevyamānaḥ savaiyākhyo gāḍeya viditastava | gaḍānandana! yoga-sāṅkhyayoḥ yo sanātano dharmo niyataḥ tathā caturṇāṃ varṇānāṃ ye ’virodhino dharmāḥ proktāḥ, yaṃ sarve janāḥ sevante, tat sarvaṃ te vyākhyāsahitaṃ viditam |

వైశంపాయనుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ గడానందనా, నీవు సవ్యాఖ్యాతగా ప్రసిద్ధివహించితివి. యోగములోను సాంఖ్యములోను నియతమైన సనాతన ధర్మమును, అలాగే నాలుగు వర్ణములకును అవిరోధమైన ధర్మమును—ప్రజలు సాధారణంగా ఆచరించునదానిని—నీవు వ్యాఖ్యానసహితంగా తెలిసికొనియున్నావు.
