ते स्तुवन्तश्न विप्राग्य्रा: केशवं पुरुषोत्तमम्‌ भीष्मं च शनकै: सर्वे प्रशशंसु: पुनः पुन:,वे ब्राह्मणशिरोमणि सभी महर्षि पुरुषोत्तम भगवान्‌ केशवकी स्तुति करते हुए धीरे-धीरे भीष्मजीकी बारंबार सराहना करने लगे

te stuvantaś ca viprāgryāḥ keśavaṁ puruṣottamam | bhīṣmaṁ ca śanakaiḥ sarve praśaśaṁsuḥ punaḥ punaḥ ||

ఆ బ్రాహ్మణశ్రేష్ఠ మహర్షులు పురుషోత్తముడైన కేశవుని స్తుతిస్తూ, నెమ్మదిగా భీష్ముని కూడా పునఃపునః ప్రశంసించసాగిరి।
