Service to Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Allocation of State Duties
द्विजानां देवकार्येषु का्येष्वन्येषु चैव ह । धौम्यं पुरोधसां श्रेष्ठ नित्यमेव समादिशत्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Dvijānāṃ devakāryeṣu kāryeṣv anyeṣu caiva ha |
Dhaumyaṃ purodhasāṃ śreṣṭhaṃ nityam eva samādiśat ||
ద్విజుల దేవకార్యాలలోను, ఇతర బ్రాహ్మణోచిత కర్తవ్యాలలోను, పురోహితులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన ధౌమ్యుని ఆయన నిత్యమూ నియమించాడు.
