ब्राह्मण उवाच आगतोऊहं महाभाग तव दर्शनलालस: । कंचिदर्थमनर्थज्ञ: प्र््धकामो भुजड्रम,ब्राह्मणने कहा--महाभाग नागराज! मैं आपहीके दर्शनकी लालसासे यहाँ आया हूँ। आपसे एक बात पूछना चाहता हूँ, जिसे मैं स्वयं नहीं जानता हूँ

Transliteration

brāhmaṇa uvāca: āgato ’haṃ mahābhāga tava darśana-lālasaḥ | kañcid arthaṃ anartha-jñaḥ pṛthak-kāmo bhujaṅgama ||

Translation

బ్రాహ్మణుడు పలికెను—ఓ మహాభాగ నాగరాజా! మీ దర్శనాభిలాషతోనే నేను ఇక్కడికి వచ్చితిని. నాకు తెలియని ఒక విషయమును మీతో అడగదలచితిని, ఓ భుజంగమా.
