रोषस्य हि वशं गत्वा दशग्रीव: प्रतापवान् | तथा शक्रप्रतिस्पर्धी हतो रामेण संयुगे,इन्द्रसे भी टक्कर लेनेवाला प्रतापी दशानन रावण रोषके ही अधीन होकर युद्धमें श्रीरामचन्द्रजीके हाथसे मारा गया
roṣasya hi vaśaṁ gatvā daśagrīvaḥ pratāpavān | tathā śakra-pratispardhī hato rāmeṇa saṁyuge ||
ఎందుకంటే రోషానికి లోబడి, ఇంద్రునితో కూడా పోటీ పడగల ప్రతాపవంతుడైన దశగ్రీవ రావణుడు యుద్ధంలో శ్రీరాముని చేతిలో హతుడయ్యాడు.
