तज्जगादारविन्दाक्षो ब्रह्मण: पश्यतस्तदा । नृपश्रेष्ठ! फिर पूर्वकालमें ब्रह्माजीने नासिकाके द्वारा जब पाँचवाँ जन्म ग्रहण किया

Transliteration

tajjagādāravindākṣo brahmaṇaḥ paśyatastadā | nṛpaśreṣṭha! punaḥ pūrvakāle brahmājīne nāsikayā dvārā yadā pañcamaṃ janma gṛhītavān, tadā svayaṃ kamalanayano bhagavān nārāyaṇo hariḥ brahmaṇaḥ sammukhe ’sya dharmasya upadeśaṃ cakāra |

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—అప్పుడు బ్రహ్మ చూస్తుండగానే కమలనయనుడు ఆ మాట పలికెను. ఓ నృపశ్రేష్ఠా! పూర్వకాలములో బ్రహ్మ నాసిక ద్వారా ఐదవ జన్మను గ్రహించినప్పుడు, స్వయంగా కమలనయనుడైన భగవాన్ నారాయణుడు—హరియే—బ్రహ్మ సమక్షములో ఈ ధర్మమును ఉపదేశించెను.
